First time I heard Billy
My first experience with Billy Joel was this album when it first came out in the 70s. Loved listening to it over and over again in the car. Could not get enough of this album. Bought 52nd Street before I heard the album because I liked The Stranger so much. The album sounds great, but the real reason for getting this is for the live cuts. You can tell this was recorded in the 70s because the crowd did not go nuts when Just the Way You Are was played.
