Wow wow wow!!!!!!!
I am so glad I chose these subs for my truck. They! Hit! Hard! Thank you Pioneer!! Perfect pricing and product!! I’m sure the more expensive products do well but for a budget you simply can’t beat the quality of sound!! I am pushing these subs with a Cerwin-Vega 1200 watt amp @ 2 ohms!!! My shirt and insides move when I play White-snakes “Still of the Night”. I very seldom listen to any hard bass songs like from Hip hop but I do listen to Hopsin now and then. I love these subs. You don’t know what you are missing until you have everything you need for good quality sound!! In the doors I am running the Vega series 6.5 components, back mini doors JL Audio 4” coax. Pushed by Precision Power 4X120. I am so happy. Guys I look for a reason to go do my honey do list now so I can ... I am so glad I chose these subs for my truck. They! Hit! Hard! Thank you Pioneer!! Way better than i expected!
I purchased this sub for a 2000 Ranger regular cab. Based on reviews i had good expectations of this sub, but just how hard can one shallow sub actually hit?? I am a big fan on 10" subs because of how clean they can be when playing Rock music, but went with the 12" due to concerns of a flat subs ability to deliver solid bass. I built a sealed enclosure per Pioneers recommendations and powered it with a Polk PA880 monoblock i had on hand. The results are amazing!!! I never dreamed it was possible to get this much rich bass from a flat sub!! The 12" sub is right at home with Rap, R&B, and Dubstep. It gets a little muddy with Rock music but i am more than satisfied with its Rock music capability. This sub is a beast!! Seems to be built pretty good for the price. Beware the mounting hole size. My box had an 11 1/4 hole, this sub slides into an 11 3/4 diameter hole. I also had to remove the plastic piece that covers the magnet and mount it in the box rotated (wire connectors in the way) otherwise made it work in the box I have for under the rear seat in my 05 ram crew cab. Sounds good and I can't wait to get another one and upgrade my amp. Still need more bass!Seems to be built pretty good for the price. Beware the mounting hole size. I wasn't sure how they were going to be when I first hooked them up, they didn't hit the bass like my old regular sized subs did, but the more I listened the better and lower the bass got. So my advice is don't judge them until you break the subs in. I honestly think they hit lower than my other ones. The perfect air volume in a sealed box for these subs is 0.5ft. Wow I'm impressed!
I honestly did not expect this shallow mount to sound so good so instead of getting just two I went with three because I had doubts about the sound quality and performance but when I installed them and turned up the bass I was impressed I couldn't believe the sound coming from such a tight space I have them in a 2008 Toyota tacoma double cab behind the seat I would definitely recommend these to anybody that has a pick up truck trust me you won't regret itI honestly did not expect this shallow mount to sound so good so instead of getting just two I went with three because I had doubts about the sound quality and performance but when I installed them and turned up the bass I was impressed I couldn't believe the sound coming from such a tight space I have them in a 2008 Toyota tacoma double cab behind the seat I would definitely recommend these to anybody that has a pick up truck trust me you won't regret it
