Killer Joke
I cried with laughter watching Monty Python as it came out. I was a young teenager, and my education was ruined by competing to repeat verbatim what we had seen that week on Python.. All comedy is derivative. Python too. But pretty much all comedy since owes the pythons. The Pythons did not start sillyness, absurdity and incongruity, but it is now hard to laugh at Tristram Shandy, or the Goons but the Python's have aged astonishingly well. owl stretching time
the sketch show that took absurdity to new heights breaking quite a few rules/ taboos and kicked off a phenomena.
