Good book but negative portrayal of him.
I ordered this book because I had it checked out from the library and didn't have time to finish it because it is so long. Someone else had put a hold on it so I only had 3 weeks to read it and it wasn't enough time. The book is good enough I figured I may as well get it for my library. It is actually a very depressing and negative portrayal of Van Gogh and his mental problems but goes into every little detail of his life, taken from his letter correspondences. Haven't finished it yet but learning a lot. A lot of nice color pictures. After reading this book I need to read another book with a more positive portrayal of him. I love Van Gogh so much!
