ReviewsThe saga continues to embroider the original works with intelligence and imagination and also a stronger role for women. - Booklist on Mentats of Dune "The magic lingers, even when the final chapters have already been written." - Kirkus Reviews on Mentats of Dune "[A] fun blend of space opera and dynastic soap opera . . . The narrative is broken into short, jazzy chapters studded with familiar names like Atreides, Harkonnen, and Arrakis that will grab the attention of longtime Dune fans." - Publishers Weekly on Sisterhood of Dune

SynopsisA New York Times bestseller, Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's Navigators of Dune is the climactic finale of the Great Schools of Dune trilogy, set 10,000 years before Frank Herbert's classic Dune . The story line tells the origins of the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood and its breeding program, the human-computer Mentats, and the Navigators (the Spacing Guild), as well as a crucial battle for the future of the human race, in which reason faces off against fanaticism. These events have far-reaching consequences that will set the stage for Dune , millennia later.

  • Really good if you are a fan

I am a big fan of the dunes series. With that caveat, I would say this is better than the mentats or the sisterhood books, But not to the level of the original series. I would recommend this if you read the other volumes but for somebody that is not familiar with the series I would not recommend it.

  • Awsome

If you love DUne universe, you'll love this one also. Not as good as Fran Herberts style, but still interesting and keeps you reading page after page
