Replaced stock tweeters
Put these in the pillars of a 07 Yukon, stock stereo, no amplifier on the mids and highs. You can definitely tell the difference when sitting up front, but not in the back seat, (probably because of two 15"s in the back.) Just wanted a little more highs before upgrading door speakers/ amp, and for $8, I figured why not see what they can do. My girl noticed the high hats and snares were louder, and if she noticed then that's a good thing. Depending on what type of highs, they do scream pretty loud.. When I add an amplifier and replace the door speakers, I'll wire these tweeters up to the amp also, and I'm sure there will be more positive results.
