Product Information
As a professional Electronic News Gathering Camera (ENG), the JVC GY-HM750 camcorder was designed for extreme receptivity and connectivity. Nevertheless, it weighs 8.3 lbs, and the ergonomic body makes it easier to carry on a shoulder than its studio-bound cousins. Incorporating JVC's ProHD capture technologies, this ENG camera accommodates the native .MP4, XDCAM EX, or .MOV file formats of professional editing systems such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. Additionally, the JVC GY-HM750 camcorder has a robust 68-pin connector which allows various types of modules to be hooked up to its chassis without external cables. In the event of long distance broadcasts, for instance, this connector accommodates the MPEG2 signal for the ASI output with an optional KA-AS790 module. Utilizing a wide range of lenses, compatible with its patented 1/3 3CCD sensor, this JVC video camera can record in either HD or SD to SDHC solid state media. Moreover, this ENG camera has a high-resolution 1.22 million pixel LCOS viewfinder and a large 4.3-inch flip-out LCD monitor. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of this JVC video camera, however, is its ability to record simultaneously to both of its SD/SDHC memory slots which ensures instant back-up and gives it virtually unlimited recording time. The JVC GY-HM750 camcorder is an efficient multi-purpose capture device perfect for on-location breaking news, sporting events, or interviews.
