A Protestant Uses the Catholic Bible and Appreciates it!
I am currently taken a hermeneutics class requiring significant background research into the Scripture I am studying. I am not a Catholic and do not hold to Catholic teaching or to the Apocrypha as part of the canon. However, this Bible was suggested to me because the research provided in the commentary is considered very good and reliable. For that reason only, I purchased this Bible.
