Blood and gore and more blood and gore!
Any war is far worse than it could ever be portrayed on screen, but at the end of the day you sit down to watch a movie to be entertained! But this seemed like hours of limbs being blown off, for shock value rather than anything else! I'm a kid of the 80's, bought up on violent movies like Mad Max, The Terminator, Predator, etc! I didn't enjoy Hacksaw Ridge and was pretty bored by the end!

Amazing
I caught the end of this film on tv. My sister told me about the story line, so I decided to purchase it because I wanted to watch it from the beginning. I'm glad that I bought it. I think that it is a brilliant film and being a true story I was shocked at some of the scenes of war and how realistic the action is. I would definitely recommend buying this film and you won't regret it if you like war films with the added bonus of a true story.

Excellent war film that centres on the ridge
Wow what a film. This film is a gripping true story it is one that has you on the edge of your seat at times. I would recommend it to anyone.
