Quality Colored Pencils
Very quick review...I LOVE Prismacolor Pencils, both the Premier and these Verithins. But you must be very careful with the wax based pencils as the points wear down quickly, but there are little tricks that you can find online, some videos, to eliminate some of that issue. Please check them out for the info on that. The other thing is sharpening them. You need a very sharp good quality sharpener as the softer leads that are made to blend so beautifully, also break often if you don't have a good sharpener. I'm using the one made specifically for Prismacolor pencils and it is totally awesome, after trying the cheap sharpeners I bought at the craft/art store. I literally sharpened away more than half of my first black pencil in a brand new but cheap sharpener. I received my sharpener made especially for these pencils yesterday and easily sharpened three of these new black Verithins with no breaking, I am delighted with all my Prismacolor products.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Just a black pencil?
Yes at first look it is just a black pencil but use it and you'll fast appreciate it as the high quality, artist medium this line is known for. I use this and other earth color Prismacolor pencils to highlight and differentiate details on model trains. I'm still learning the subtleties and shadowing possibilities but the shadow effects are startling. I bought an assortment of Prismacolor pencils at Office Depot but blew through the black pencil in a few weeks, it's the most useful color for my purposes. It's great they sell the black pencils in packs of a dozen. Whether you like to draw, color, advance doodle, or use them for modelbuilding, Prismacolor pencils are a fine quality artists tool.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great quality-great value
