Excellent 4K Disc from Kino Lorber complete with blu-ray and extra features.
First of all, Phillip Kaufman's 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers is an excellent film and one of the most underrated remakes ever made. When it comes to remakes that are as good or better than the predecessor, the conversation almost always goes to the same old standby, John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) or David Cronenberg's The Fly (1986). Hardly anyone ever mentions Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Great 4K disc from Kino Lorber, with excellent picture quality and sound. If you haven't gotten this disc yet and you're deciding between it and the Scream Factory blu-ray version, I'd say go for the Kino Lorber version, you get the blu-ray in addition to the 4K disc, and a good supply of supplemental features.
