MVi has Efficient Robust Design With Shure Reliability
This interface is well made and works very well. I am using it with the phantom power, which is taken from the host device (iPhone). I was worried that the battery life would be much shorter, but I used it for more than 2 hours today, and was also running a very intensive app at the same time. It used about half the battery charge in my iphone 6s, with plenty left over when I was done. I purchased this here on Ebay used, but the mini USB to lightning cord was not supplied in the box. Please note that the MVi will NOT WORK with just any adapter cord from the mini USB output jack to the lightning jack on your device. You MUST use the genuine Shure cord. The cord cost about $30 with shipping. Before I ordered the special cord from Shure, I tried hooking various adapters and cords to bridge the USB and lightning connectors, and the unit did not work at all. I also tried to use a lightning splitter to allow charging my phone at the same time. The MVi did not like this, and would not work. The regular USB to mini USB cord, which IS supplied in the box, worked fine to connect the MVi to my PC. There are no push buttons or knobs on the unit, which makes it very sturdy and robust with nothing to break off. Switching various options is instantaneous, all done electronically. Easy to use but it makes a lot of noise
I bought this expecting to make good recordings, I record guided meditations, but it makes a lot of noise in all the different modes it has to record with condenser microphone. Now I’m looking to try with iOS but usb cable is too expensive. The price I paid for was certainly low but now is gonna be the same as buying a new one that includes this lightning cable. It works better for me than another interface.
I dont right reviews but the Shure Mvi interface works better with my Shure SM 7B than all the others along with the Cloudlifter....it is a perfect combination for broadcast recording and not add processing.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
