This is a great book for a reading group. Ours read each chapter aloud and discussed it at length in practical terms.. The author has YOUTUBE presence also.

    A must read!

    This should be the textbook for high school civics classes. It’s a quick easy read and compelling. And be sure to also check out the graphic version of this book… giggle… it has PICTURES (artwork) to help you read it. Just kidding. I love the artwork in the graphic version.

    Absolutely essential reading for all Americans in Trump's march to tyranny.

    The author's expertise on Eastern Europe turns on the lights to what is happening to our nation under the Trump administration. We Americans cannot continue to believe that our institutions will protect us from the experience of other great nations, or that we are "exceptional" in our existence. This succinct little book lays it out for us, not only the similarities of what is happening here and what has happened elsewhere, but with pointed strategies for resisting it. A quick read--that you will likely want to reread and share with others. And it is dirt cheap, as well.

    Serious warnings

    After reading On Tyranny from the library, I immediately ordered 3 copies: one for myself to highlight, one for my children, and one for friends. The book is a dire warning on the direction we as a country are headed if we don't wake up. We are handing unlimited power to men with no moral core. I thought I had a handle on our current situation, but this little book has opened my eyes and stiffened my spine. For my children and my country.
