Tom Cruise stars as a soldier who lives out the last day of his life over and over again in this Warner Bros. sci-fi production from director Doug Liman. Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton co-star, with Dante Harper and Joby Harold providing the script. Major William Cage is an officer who hasnÆt lived a single moment in the frontlines of combat, only to be dropped straight into the greatest bloodbath in human history. A battle he canÆt win, one in which he will be killed just minutes into entering the fray. However, rather than simply pass away, Cage finds himself waking up before this final battle, forced to relive the dayàand then it happens again. Live, die repeat. Live, die, repeat. Through this time-loop, Cage begins to grow stronger and survive longer, and with the help of Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski, he will use each encounter as another step closer to finally ending the bloody war with a seemingly unstoppable alien enemy.

    Live Die Repeat

    Common enough plot line. Basically Groundhog day meets Starship Trouper. Protagonist is fighting alian invaders and keeps getting killed and each time returns to the beginning and lives it all again, only each time remembers the previous times and so learns enough to servive a little longer. Can he eventually servive long enough to defeat the invaders? Little bit more to it, back stories, relationships etc but has the alternate tittle says; Live, Die, Repeat. Well done, Tom Cruice is Tom Cruice as usual and there is enough to keep you interested.

    Smart, immersive and entertaining movie

    This is a smart, fast moving immersive action film with great CGI effects and wry, cynical, and witty dialogue. All the acting support is great and Cruise & Blunt work very well together. The military exoskeleton battle suits look incredibly realistic when mixed with the live action. Easily stands repeat viewing. Never a dull moment.
