This is basically a dry bag for sleeping, meaning you can bring minimal shelter for your sleep setup when backpacking. I will be running the bivy, sleeping bag, and pad under a mil-tec poncho trekking pole tent this week. (Sleep system sub ~5 lbs stored in a roll on the exterior of a ruck leaving extra room in your pack!! That’s what I love about this bivy bag.

I questioned the item received vs the ebay description; my inquiry was almost immediately answered and the issue clarified (I learned something about stainless steel). Overall a good buying experience. The only small nit-pick: item could have been packed a little better, a little brown paper around it to keep it from banging around in the box , or getting dented by rough handling from USPO, would have been nice. Will look at more of their stuff.
