Actress Angelina Jolie stars in the Columbia Pictures' espionage thriller "Salt" as contemporary CIA officer Evelyn Salt. This action-based thriller follows the story of Salt who, before becoming an agent, swore to protect her country through duty and honor. This oath is put to the test when she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and uses all of her experience and covert skills to avoid capture, protect her family, and find some answers, all while staying a step ahead of the agency that trained her. Available in Blu-ray format, viewers can fully appreciate the heart-pounding action of this thriller in the crystal clarity of 1080-pixel HD and widescreen formatting. "Salt" offers viewers many special features, including pop quizzes, a gallery of film stills, documentaries following the actors and director, a look at what real CIA agents do, commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, and more. The Blu-ray disc has an aspect ratio of 2.40:1 and subtitles for English, French, and Spanish, as well as movie languages in all three options. "Salt" is directed by Philip Noyce and, alongside Jolie, stars Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

    ACTION, EXCITEMENT, ADVENTURE: A THRILL-A-MINUTE RIDE !

    This is a good, fast-paced-action, political thriller. Angelina Jolie does most of her own stunts, takes a beating, and beats back even harder ! I've never been a really big fan of hers, but as "Salt" she's gained my appreciation. There are Three Versions of the film that you can watch...the Extended Cut with added material, and a different ending adds some depth and ties-up some loose ends. I liked it best. ALSO, there are plenty of "Extras" on this Blu-ray that make it worth the price of admission on their own merits ! Be sure to watch it at night to get the full impact of this very cool thriller !

    A Great Movie

    You have three versions of the film, each one with different emotional charge. The acting is very good. The action is over the top, but that is the point. I really recommended this movie to the action fans.

    Salt: A joyride you have to see

    Salt is a joy ride. Angelina is a great character. She brings herself alive in the roll as agant Salt. I am really impressed how she does her own stunts. This is a film that you need to see.

    Action and explosive acting movie

    Angelina Jolie is a action packed Diva. She was amazing with stunts and acting. She was kicking behinds left and right. I love this movie! This is a sizzling hot explosive, nail biting ride that doesn't slow down.
