    I ordered this DVD, along w/books from 2 other sellers, on the same day. This dvd arrived much quicker than the others are estimated to. Ordered 5/30 late at night & arrived on 6/5. Great. My books don’t even have est. dates for arrival. Crazy. This seller wrapped the brand new dvd w/ several papers, so it was nice & cushioned. It also will make for interesting reading. Grocery prices in different states, amiright? Fun. This is one of my fave movies. Can’t find on streamers, so happy to have it.

    The Original Trek!

    The Original is the best. This is the Star Trek I grew up on. This set-- the one with the plastic boxes that are vaguely tricorder-shaped-- are the DVDs that are *not* digitally altered to make the special effects updated and more "accessible" to a younger audience. This is the real McCoy (pun intended). I can see the case for updating the effects, but this is the way I remember Star Trek, and I love this set.

    Classic presentation of classic sci fi television

    This particular set is presented the way it was originally intended. The color and quality is better but no CGI has been added. Although CGI has come a long way the work on the remastered set is clunky and seems artificial for the most part. I never considered this show broken so why fix it, especially if it is sub standard. The collection is encased in a handsome retro box which is a bonus complete with a mini book. The discs are one sided and there are many which allows for a quality picture since there are a few episodes per disc. I prefer this to what else is available and can’t recommend it enough if you are a fan of the original show or you want to see what television was like in the 1960s. I personally love both the program and this presentation.

    A nice collection of high quality dvd classics

    A great artifact of popular Sci Fi that reflected back onto the beginnings of a new cultural shift, the aspirations for future cultural equality, intellectual freedom and the ability to quest for life in the greater cosmos....good quality dvd remastering and a great value for money

    Original series Star Trek is timeless classic!!

    I love Star Trek Original series! It had good characters & plots without the extra special effects seen today!
