    This is not an official collection done by the company that made the show for starters, and I was aware of that when buying. The thing to keep in mind is that the quality is still very impressive. I’ve seen the officially licensed collections going for hundreds of dollars, which is nuts. Getting back to the product though, it’s completely worth it. The picture looks great. It has every episode and the movies. For fans of the show who just wanna be able to watch it whenever, it’s perfect.

    The DVD set arrived quickly and in good condition. As described, the set was sealed/new, and the DVDs were separated into two sturdy DVD cases. I ran all the DVDs through my bluray player (skipping around in each disc); the video quality is pretty good and the subtitles all seemed present and clear. The menu is easy to navigate. It's not a high-quality, official collection, but its a good collection. I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to watch!

    Interesting Trio of Lesser-Known Satyajit Ray Films in a Single Set

    This triple feature film dvd set of Satyajit Ray releases offers an overview of three lesser-known works by the Indian master. KAPURUSH (THE COWARD) is a memorable drama with superlative performances by the three leads and is presented in a notably well-defined print. MAHAPURUSH (THE HOLY MAN) is a thoroughly engaging comedy, as a trio of Calcutta intellectuals resolve to unmask a fake prophet / seer. The third item included, unfortunately marred by vertical barring, some pixel decay, and a fair amount of underlit graininess, is a detective mystery featuring Ray's own invented sleuth Feluda, with the director adapting his own story for film. It's one of the minor creations of Mr. Ray.

    Item arrived on time in excellent condition. Yet to view it. Lambert has a tendency to run luke warm on some projects. Be interesting to see how he goes this time.

    Outstanding detailed history of Versailles during Louis XV.

    Good value DVD that is a welcome complement to my collection of films and books of the same subject. The picture and sound are excellent.
