It's a little weird that both straps don't buckle, the bottom strap is fixed in place, which makes it hard to get them tied correctly, but once I got them tied and the top strap buckled the way I wanted it, they are easy to put on and take off because of the zipper. The seller posted pictures of these boots from every angle; I just didn't notice that both straps don't buckle, so that's not on the seller.
