Works Perfect! VERY sturdy!
Ordered the Valley Forge Aluminum flag pole bracket and it arrived quickly. It is very sturdy metal and was so easy to install. I had another metal bracket for years and the strong wind broke it at the weld point. This unit is made All in one piece, so it should last forever... strong and attractive bracket
I bought this described as being 8- 5/16"x 5- 13/16" don't know where that came from. Mounting surface more like 2"x4". that cleared up. this product is very nice and will suit me quite well. you will be happy with your purchase. even came with some screws and anchors for mounting. Poor Design!!
The screws holes are way to close to the pole insert. It is impossible to get the drill close enough to tighten the screws. Also, the holes are too small and will barely fit even the smallest size Tapcon. Don't try to widen the holes with a drill bit, because the holes are very close to the edge. Solid construction. I have used the reinforced nylon and they would break off. This survide 68 mph winds already.
