    Very Disappointing

    I thought Victron was a premium product, I am so disappointed in this Shunt. I have read other reviews after I was having problems and others claim the same issues. I should have researched before purchase, stupid me. Bluetooth, you have to be within 1m of the shunt, minimum, sometimes you have to be within 500mm to get it to work, other times you have to reboot your phone to connect. I have $40 devices that perform way way better than this. It disconnects if you move about so you have to leave your phone beside the shunt to stay connected. The manual says the min distance is 20m! Yes, all software is up to date. Battery Time Remaining - it is all over the place, I have 600Ah of battery and one minute it tells me I have 4 days and next I have only a few hours and then 1 day and ...

    YES it's great

    It works as it should, only problem is that bluetooth in Victron terms will not work with Windows. Bluetooth works great on my Samsung S20 android. Note that the BT signal from the Shunt is not that great unless you are within 3 to 4 mtrs. Victron do not seem to be very interested in fixing the BT problem. To increase the Android up to receive a much better signal you will need to purchase - Victron Energy VE. Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle for BMV and MPPT Overall I am still happy with the Smart Shunt.

    Victron 500A shunt

    A great product that works well. I previously had a voltage monitor that only caused me worry. This shunt will show when i turn on a 1 watt light. I already had the App for my charger and the Iphone has no problems connecting.
