Heavy story lines in series one and two
This is an enjoyable series that does not pull punches. Not for the children due to subject matter. Some harsh language but mostly it's the disturbing police ethics shown. If you want clean police officers that solve crimes and act within the laws, this is not the series for you. These are tough stories that show corruption at all levels of the department depicted. Very exciting and engaging
This is a VERY gripping series. After almost every episode, it is like - can you believe what happened? What will happen in the next episode? The first three series were more heart pounding. I felt rather breathless after each episode finished and eager to find out what happens next. The fourth series was not quite so intense, but still very much put you on the edge of your seat. The bad thing is that we have to wait 2 years for the next two series!!!! From what I have read series 5 comes out in 2019 and 6 in 2020. So who knows when the DVDs will be available. Line of Duty, highly recommended

Excellent cast and plot!

Intellectually Stimuating Story Line
Lenny James is featured demonstrating some exceptional acting as he tries to outwit a young Detective (actor Martin Compston) who works for the Anti-Police Corruption Squad investigating him (the most decorated detective in the country) The story plot thickens and as layer after layer increases to complicate the plot.
