This 30 mm f/1.4 lens is designed to work with APS-c and 4/3 SLR cameras and uses a 62 mm filter. The angle of view is 45 degrees and the minimal aperture is f/16, and the focal length is 30 mm. The Sigma EX DC HSM 30 mm has a minimum focus distance of almost 16-inches, making it useful for close-ups too. This is a very fast and professional quality 30 mm f/1.4 lens that can be a useful addition to anyone's photo toolbox.

    Fast, beautiful, versatile lens with a few compromises.

    This lens makes a few compromises, but if you can accept those it will put an f/1.4 lens with solid autofocus and a good build in your hands. Wide open, this lens is very soft in the corners, with fairly heavy vignetting. You could get the Pentax 35mm 2.4 and have nearly perfect sharpness at any setting, from corner to corner - but it would be 1/3 as fast as this. But stopped down just a bit, this lens is sharp across almost all of the frame and the vignetting won't be noticed. Wide open, the middle of the frame will be very sharp. The bokeh is smooth. Light flares are handled well. And this aperture and focal length combo are very well suited for tight indoor spaces or for outdoor shots where you want to include some of the setting in the frame.

    First day I took it out by the beach. I love this lens. I use it mostly for indoor shots w/o flash.

    Good lens

    The lens and the blurriness is great! But it says that it can auto focus, dont get me wrong it focuses but very bad 😭😭😭 just wanted to say this
