    The condition and value of the book are 100% wonderful. My only disappointment was with the shipping process , the item was only shipped after I conveyed my displeasure that the book did not leave their facility for a week. They were unapologetic, by the time I told them to cancel the order, they informed me that it was on it's way, but shipping information did not support it.

    Lightweight but works if you work it.

    I first bought this book in 1985 to help me juggle housework, kids schedules, my husband schedule and my schedules which all made me feel torn into pieces and overwhelmed to the max. And having a new baby just added to the mix. I jumped on the bandwagon after hearing the two authors on Vicki Lawrence's tv show. After following thier system for 2 weeks I was back in control of my homemaking and my crazy life and I stayed in control until my last child left home. Then I started to slip a little until now and I wanted to get back to having my home clean and free of clutter again, but over the years I lost track of my book and want to start again. I have already started building my box again and am seeing the rewards of being on top of the work of keeping a home clean and peaceful for my ...

    Sidetracked Home Executive

    I checked this book out of the library about 40 years ago. I loved it. It changed my life. It set me free. I wanted to own it so I could revisit this "motivational moment" in my life and share it with sister women.

    love the Pigpen to Pardise idea

    This book is written in a fun and easy way. It is helpful for cleaning but the story line is great also. It is easier to be a Home Executive than just a housewife.

    Great cleaning plan!

    Even though this books is decades old now, the entire household cleaning plan is amazing. I wish I had read this book years ago! The humor is super cheesy now, but I didn’t mind at all. I do recommend this method if you need to keep your house clean and don’t know how to

    The "Course in Home-Ec" for Women Who Skipped It

    This seems to be the first "how to get your house clean" book. It's friendly and fun to read -- a good start -- but I'm still looking for a book that expands on why "a place for everything and everything in it's place" does work -- other than saving you buying the same thing over and over, saving you money, and reducing clutter.
