I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and...
I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and it's nice to see them acted out. When I was younger I thought that if you read a book, seeing a movie based on that book would be redundant, but that's almost never the case. Sometimes the movie is wildly different from the book, but even when the director tries to keep the movie faithful to the book, there's inevitably a different spin, and that makes things interesting.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

In reviewing media, I always assume the reader is already familiar with the story. Accordingly, I merely express my views regarding video and audio quality. VIDEO. Both the player and the TV upscale. With that caveat, the picture is near 4K quality with vibrant color and better than 4k birghtness. AUDIO. DTS HD; Dolby Digital. Great replacement for VHS versions.

Different packaging—same great product!
I was surprised to see the set in a different (and actual box) case as apposed to the the slightly bigger blu-ray case usually used for such a thing. I have now watched the movies (2 of three since I had already watched the first on dvd before buying this set), and they are in great working condition, and I appreciate both that and the great price I was able to purchase it for!
