    New Echo Plus does not impress

    I upgraded from the original Echo Dot to the new 3rd Gen Echo Dot and was quite impressed based on performance/value. I was therefore (based on reviews) thought I would upgrade again to the new Echo Plus (as a stereo pair). Overall quite disappointing, the base extension is hardly worth it (although I presume this would be improved with an Echo Sub) but if I bought that why bother with the extra size of the Echo plus? The mid range is sadly lacking and some tracks are so quiet when just in the mid range its an embarrassing effort. The overall loudness is also disappointing. This product does not dominate or fill a room with the only improvement in fidelity at the top end. The difference in performance in comparison to cheaper speakers such as Ultimate Ears Boom 2 is significant so overall ...

    Amazon Echo Plus 2nd Gen

    I was on certain as to whether to buy the 2nd or 3rd generation Amazon Echo. After reading reviews and further information I have made the right choice. It is excellent, great sound. Easy to set up. I would definitely recommend it.

    Handy Gadget

    A handy gadget that is useful especially when you have your hands full or can't be bothered to get up and do something manually when you can simply instruct Alexa as to what you want

    I liked it although the dog didnt

    Got the echo just to see what the fuss was and yes it does loads of stuff although mostly I like the fact you can just ask it to play your favorite artist, era, ect. The other thing is that it can resist a GSD inquisitive teeth fairly well. I came down stairs yesterday morning because I heard some loud bangs to find she had pulled it off the shelf and was have a good gnaw at it. It survived and is still intact

    Good product
