Excellent book!

Very good book! I kid you not!
My dad had this book when I was young and tried to get me interested. I wasn't much of a reader. Finally I picked it up and could not put it down. I've read it a few times. I keep giving it away and buying it again. When my dad was winding down in a hospital room I took a copy of this book to read to him. We got thru it and each time he said it was like a walk in the woods - a break from the current reality. There's a part in the book when Tom is saying goodbye to Grandfather Stalking Wolf as he is moving far away and because of his ripe ole age, Tom knows it will be the last time he sees him.
