A great microphone for the price that delivers!
I think the introduction of the USB/XLR combo microphone is one of the best things to electronics and podcasting specifically. Enter the Samson Q2U. If you are start of your Podcasting journey this is one of the best microphones to have, if not the best.It's cardioid pattern makes it easy to use just speak directly into it for the best sound possible. Please don't fall into the trap of getting a Shure SM7b or an Electro Voice microphone it's just not needed. You can plug this microphone into your USB port on your laptop, or a mixer that uses an XLR connector and you will sound great! I know seasoned podcasters who use the microphone in a pinch and it does not disappoint. I send this microphone to guests who appear on my Podcasts and they sound great.
