Great Value, unless you already have the full series.
This is excellent value if again I say IF you already have the first half of the series. The CGI used on the Cylons has stood up with time and this part of the whole Battlestar Galactica universe tends to be a very often overlooked part of the lore around the reimagined series. Be aware that SyFy broke Caprica's one and only season into two half-season releases, so if you already own the complete version, you won't be needing this one, but if you only have Caprica 1.0 this will complete an excellent story for you.

Wish for more!
just over 2 seasons and what a mistake cancelling it. It would have blossomed into the Battlestar series and explained so much, but TV is fickle. What there was made it very emotional so the Battlestar series made more sense how the new cylons were created. Great Show!

Nice.
It's good for BG fans to have the back story of this cycle of cylons, and their history with the Adama clan, with a glimpse into colonial society. Imaginative, well written, filmed, and performed. Nothing in the surroundings, or foregrounds, for that matter, to jar the viewer out of immersion in the show. Well done, and highly recommended.

Too bad it had to end
Caprica was a terrific series that, sadly, ended after only one season. On the upside, that makes these DVD's inexpensive, and well worth the money. Just be prepared to be left forever anticipating the never-to-be-produced season 2...

Caprica Season 1.5 Review
This set was an outstanding series of shows. The plot, acting and scenes were great. The story provides a basis for the Battlestar Galactica Series.

Caprica
Caprica should of had at least one more season but they gave us only one in 2 parts but the orig mini series is included in the 1.0 set so you only have to buy 1.0 and 1.5 to have it all BSG fans you need this along with The Plan and Blood and Chrome to complete the new version of BSG

Battlestar Galaltic lovers great addition to your collection
Loved it Caprica 1.5 it was a short series back to the beginning of the Cylon's and the Cylon wars enjoy it was great.

Not for children. Very mature, gripping, well written. May challenge some religious opinions requires an open mind.
