PG movies were just flat-out better in the 80's
My Science project is just a fun movie. It's probably best enjoyed if you turn your seriousness radar down to zero (or down about half a bottle of hard alcohol). Fisher Stevens is absolute classic and funny in an absurd way. Dennis Hopper is just freaky and hilarious in his own way. I adored this film as a teenager and, quite frankly, I still enjoy it as a dopey uncool 39 year old dad. My science project is a great example of how much PG movies were allowed to get away with in the mid 80's. Lots of smoking and drinking. No nudity though (booo). Lots of laughs and an awesome Pontiac GTO that deserves to be in the credits as much as the rest of the characters. I gave this 4 stars because this particular BluRay that I purchased does not have ANY extra options including subtitles. Which stinks because I am hearing impaired. So, I had to turn the soundbar up to 1,000 and annoy my wife a bit because she's a lovely gal that endures my nostalgic trips in watching subpar movies that nobody else seems to love all that much.

A bit of nostalgia
Call it a guilty pleasure if you want, but I would rather watch Fisher Stevens and John Stockwell outrace electricity in a blown supercharged 69 GTO Than any crappy movie in the theaters nowadays! This film may be a bit silly, but back in the 80's at least movies had a little bit of flavor. Buy this film You'll know EXACTLY what I'm Talkin bout!

Classic 80s Movie
I bought this movie way back in the 80s on VHS. I watched it so many times that I wore the soundtrack off the tape. By that time, I had the entire script memorized. Lol. I was so glad to see it out on Blu-ray. Even today, I could watch this movie over and over again, and never get bored. Great movie! The special effects are pretty dang good for the time period. I highly recommend this movie. That ‘68 GTO is awesome as well!

80's Sci Fi Movie Worth the Watch
It might be an old 80's movie, but considering I grew up during that time it was defiantly worth the watch again. Good movie with a good concept that (with todays technology) could have probably been taken a lot further, but keeping in mind the technology then, it's a good watch.

Great 80s science fiction comedy adventure before the all to seamless digital age they don't make them like this anymore classic!
