This is a concise book for detailed data on the Iowa Class battleships, from World War Two to 1988 (even though there was a third printing in 1994 in was not updated to include Desert Storm). Like, did you know the four identical looking ships are not the same size? Not a lot of photos, but there are plenty of books out there that are mainly photos yet are lacking in data.
A highly recommended reference, well worth every penny.
A well illustrated book covering every detail of this class of battleships. A great addition to anyones library who's interested in the U.S. Navy's last and best looking class of capital ships. The photo's and line drawings let those of us who'll never get a chance to get a first hand look at these ships wander about at will and marvel at will over the complexities of these ships
