I've owned turtle beaches and various other headsets over the years but never none like these. They pick up noise and everyone b*tchs about my background noise. They do sound really good and they connect real easy and there really comfortable. They could use just a little boost in sound and a better eq. The 4 option eq is ok but if it had just a bit more would really be better. Good, quality gaming headset
Headset performs good, however it is succeptible to other wireless waves in the area, even a stereo being on. That made it disconnect from my game console many many times, even after being updated. Sound is decent, but looking back for my use, not totally what I was looking for. Basically left and right channel directional sound, but no depth, like sound from behind or front. I will look into a more audiophile-friendly headset for my next purchase. Build quality is nice, but it seems like it doesn't holds tight enough to the ears, so some bass is lost. 15 Years on XBL and these are the best
Since my first Xbox console I've owned many headsets including two pairs on Astros and I must say there is no comparison in the Steel Series comfort connectivity ease of use and battery life. Hands down the best headset i have owned for gaming online so far. If you're buying cheap headsets do yourself a solid and invest in a pair of the Steel Series Artic 9s

Great sound, poor connection
So the sound that is produced is of great. For the audiophiles, this likely won't meet their needs though. Also, there is there eternal issue of crackling noise even though you are merely 7 feet away from the xbox. The material and construction is very robust and for me it sits comfortably on my head. I also love the option of having bluetooth together with the xbox connection. I can take phone calls without having to interrupt the gaming too much. All in all the idea of this headphones is awesome, but in practice it doesn't deliver. This crackling issue makes me just want to go back to a wired solution, the nuisance of a wire will outweigh the issue of hearing the crackling noise.So the sound that is produced is of great. Loses connection around 10-15 feet away....
Loses connection around 10-15 feet away. To get it to reconnect, you have to power off and back on and sometimes have to do it twice. Picks up all types of outside noise in the mic, could possibly be because the bluetooth always connects to your phone but it came with no instructions so can not really tell.
