    More than a great tuner

    The Korg TM-50 is more than a great tuner. The tuner works on any note on any instrument. Even on a detuned piano. Often one must tune your instrument to match the piano in the room. This one allows for quick calibration. It also has a visual confirmation that is easy to see in any light. The metronome is a great plus. I works with it's own speaker or one can plug it in to an amp or sounds system and make it really loud. It is easy to set up and use. You can also use it silently for practice or performance. The back lighting makes it easier to see from a distance and the tempo light can be seen even further. Why buy just a tuner when you can get a metronome included. Even if you never use the metronome, the tuner is worth the price.

    Acceptable as a bagpipe tuner

    I more got it as a metronome, which it's pretty good at, though I wish it could go slightly louder. However, the red flashing light is helpful there. The tuning range (480) just makes my band's low A (479) so something to consider, though we need to lower that anyway. Otherwise it's pretty good at picking all the notes even without the optional clip. Hard to imagine a cheaper better unit.

    Easy to operate, and seems very accurate

    I opened up the package put, in the batteries, set the timing to 440 for my guitar, and tuned it right up, allowing the strings to stretch, did this a couple more times, have to with new strings, the guitar tuned in very easily to the final tune. I recommend this tuner to anyone who is thinking of buying the same model, great little device. The metronome is also easy to use, and set up for whatever, your needs are, at any given time. You can purchase the Korg TM-50 with complete assurance it with perform to your liking.

    Better than my older more expensive tuners!

    Lightweight, portable, EASY read screen ( bright & brighter ).. A non-intrusive tough little unit that blows any of my old tuners away! Metronome function is infinitely adjustable- and for recording purposes ( click tracks ) is just phenomenal! Price is unbelievable affordable too!

    Easy to read, hear and light weight.

    Arrived surprisingly early. Worked immediately after installing the batteries. Tone is very true. Metronome has numerous settings. It responds to note quickly. I do recommend this Korg TM-50 tuner.
