Certainly not compelling, but a good read none the less. Intro to the local people of Caliban, where Lion grew up as an infant.
The book is good for the lore only really though. It honestly drags on in parts, and only had two interesting parts to the book for me. Must read for the, next book in series factor only! It's a back story before Caliban was introduced to the imperium. Its is a story mainly about Zahariel and his close cousins relationship joining the knightly order. It gives you a good insight into the world where the lion grew up as an infant, but not much about the Lion's early year's. A sentence or two. Caliban's people get introduced to the imperium of mankind, and the Lion gets his legion of Dark Angels, and a lucky few are honoured to joining him. It was a good book, I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Where it all began
This is a great book, the birth of the First. Those that appreciate the greatest of all the Space Marines will enjoy this book. Just when it feels the story is over you get a little more, well I found it left me wanting more.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
