One of Sega's classic racing titles continues its new lease on life with OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast, the follow-up to 2004's OutRun2 on Xbox and in the arcades. For its PlayStation 2 debut, OutRun 2006 offers players a choice of 12 licensed Ferraris, from the F430 to the Superamerica, as they put the pedal to the metal for 30 cross-country stages taken from both OutRun2 and OutRun2 SP. New twists on the series include mission-based objectives, souped-up or tuned versions of the existing Ferrari lineup, online support for up to six players, and the ability to slipstream behind rivals. Players can also earn Out Run miles throughout each game mode to cash-in for vehicles, courses, and other surprises. As an added bonus, the PlayStation 2 game supports connectivity with the PSP version, granting players the opportunity to unlock additional bonuses.

    Fast and fun gameplay.

    Game is fast pace and is always throwing stuff at you. Nice sense of rush while making it fun. Gameplay is simple, fun and thrilling but no splitscreen option exist at all which kind of sucks. A good game to check out.

    great game would by again if I wanted to

    Perfect game, a perfect evolution on the original Outrun. The turning isn't stiff unlike in other games I can actually beat it on my first try. There are even challenge modes if you get bored with the original mode.

    One of the better driving games on PS2

    I am a big fan of the original Outrun arcade machine. This just takes it to a whole new level. Perfect for my collection.

    Awesome Sega game

    One of my favorite Sega racing games, the graphics is amazing, the music will make you wanna dance and a crazy selection of Ferrari's thanks for such an amazing game.

    Outrun Coast to Coast PS2

    The graphics are no quite as good as the Xbox, on par with the arcade original. Incredibly fun game, the best Outrun ever.
