The stamp was also packed inside a plastic pocket to make it extra secure. This is the first time I’ve seen someone do this.

Your stamps were placed on a number of 3 row stockcards with plastic sheathing,, held in a C6 envelope. Normally this holds the stamps in place through transit. However it appears from your comment that some had moved in transit. The stamps were not packaged loose in glassine packet when dispatched. Ebay is asking purchasers to request combined postage from Ebay at checkout where the postage is by [simple delivery (£2.74 P&P)], otherwise separate postage charges apply
