Will the British transfer power to the Indian National Congress, which claims to speak for all Indians? Or will a separate Muslim state--Pakistan--be carved out of India to be ruled by Muslims, as the Muslim League proposes? And what will happen to the vulnerable minorities--such as the Sikhs and untouchables--or the hundreds of princely states? As British authority wanes, tensions among Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs smolder and increasingly flare into violent riots that threaten to ignite all India. Towering above it all is the frail but formidable figure of Gandhi, whom some revere as an apostle of nonviolence and others regard as a conniving Hindu politician.     Purchased 5 car Madison rail car set at auction. Received package well wrapped and in original box. Cars themselves are in excellent condition and mostly as described, although I believe they have seen some track time. That being said, seller offers returns so I'm confident seller was told these cars were new by whomever he got them from. The purchase price was excellent so when averaged with a higher than normal shipping fee it turned out to be an overall good deal.

    Seller responded quickly to my question before purchasing and the book is in great condition, basically "like new" except for some yellowing. I also appreciate that they don't put huge stickers on the books like a lot of the other big sellers. It was shipped quickly, arrived in 1 week, and pretty well packaged so there was no shipping damage (in spite of USPS wedging the cardboard envelope so tightly in my mailbox that I almost couldn't get it out). I'd definitely buy from them again.
