Scorpion Season 1, A Good Buy
Watching this on tv is just half the experience you ever get from tv shows. Getting the seasons on dvd is the other. Granted the menu lacks a play all feature that is usually on every other series that comes out on dvd, it makes this one unique in it's own way. Keeping you fixated on the show, and not lost in time forgetting what time it is after watching X-amount of episodes. The special features, are really impressive, and a wonder to see and hear. Select episodes have deleted scenes, or commentary by not only the people behind the scenes, but the cast as well. The case though leaves a bit of a confused feeling to me when you go to remove the discs, but that can be looked over very easily. Highly recommended, especially if you have already watched the episodes on tv, you will learn, and laugh more than before.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great entertainment!
I personally don't care much for anything on the primetime anymore, however, "Scorpion" is different. It has a bit of everything, drama, humor, lots of action, and a feeling of closeness amongst the characters. I think the casting of the characters is perfect. They know how to play their part. I'm impressed with the show, and I know that if you knew me, you'd notice that I don't watch primetime television. Scorpion is a different level of entertainment, I truly hope it lasts as long as CSI, or whatever other shows that lasted 10 seasons or more. I bought the DVD of the first season, and I will buy the next season as well. If there was a way that I could cast a vote to ensure it's longevity, then I'd like to know. For me to take the time to write a review, I can only tell you, that this show is special. At first, I wasn't sure if I'd like the show, I gotta admit, what drew me to the show was Katharine McPhee. I felt she has great talent as a singer, and acting as well. Now that I've become hooked on the show, I'm a bigger fan than I ever was before, and the rest of the cast as well. Review of the DVD, not the show.
I love Scorpion so this isn't a review of the show. The DVD is difficult to use. You can't simply play it, the menu forces you to make the choice of watching an episode several times before it will play. Very frustrating. Maybe they thought the front end looked neat and all they considered was the art and what they thought would be a clever design but the Menu isn't user friendly. DVD menus are nearly all alike, the standard has been around for years, why this design team thought they were making it better while making it harder to use, is something I can't understand. That aside, there is the video quality. Watching episodes on CBS dot com they look better than the DVD. I should have gotten the BluRay for a better picture. So, the show is terrific and I really look forward to the second season becoming available. But I don't recommend this DVD. Years ago a design team created a motorcycle for a show. It looked great and had no place to put your feet. That company decided right after to only hire engineers who rode. Eclectic Geniuses with a Heart of Gold
The real thrill of tihis show is the interpersonal relationships and how they evolve. Sly and Walter's Sister is heartbreakingly sweet; Toby and Happy is sensitive and at times hilarious!! And Walter and Paige is still a work in progress. How paige's boy Ralph interacts so successfully with the whole "Family" and YES it does involve into a Family. Cabe's burden for the death of his little girl is well handled. And the plots are so totally enhoyable from the crazy writers' group. One of TV's smartest shows
I stumbled upon an episode on CBS this past Fall and was immediately hooked. SMART writing about smart people solving beyond difficult issues for Homeland Security. I am blown away by each episode. The characters draw me in and all of the interpersonal relationships amongst the characters is fun to watch develop. Yup, one of favorite TV shows. Watch it. Light comedy, drama.

Mind-blowing rescues, investigations, etc. by exceptionally gifted individuals, awesome show.
An amazing show about a think tank of exceptionally and intelligently gifted individuals who solve the most complex, intricate, intense rescues,investigation, kidnappings and so much more. wish I knew them!
Love that the show isn't all violence. Love that it makes me think, and offers solutions instead of just asking why and who. Every episode I learned something!
