Very Well Written Story

The First Ladies by Marie Benedict
It is a good review of history and the problems with segregation. The book makes the characters come alive . In the story you can almost imagine the real conversations these women have with each other. Eleanor Roosevelt was the First Lady of the US and Mary Bethune was very instrumental in the black community and worked for change for blacks.
