    The only sharpening system to have for stainless steel blades.

    I would imagine that everyone who is seriously involved with sharpening blades has developed their own methods and preferences to achieve the edge they feel is adequate and/or appropriate for the particular blade. However, I believe that utilizing the Lansky system of hones and edge angle guides will enable even a beginning knife sharpener to consistently achieve truly sharp results. I, personally, have only been using the Lansky system to sharpen blades for about 10 years. During that period of time, the edges of my personal blades and those of my friends have improved to actually become the subject of admiration at deer camp and fishing outings. I whole-heartedly recommend the Lansky system of diamond hones,stones and angle guides to anyone who appreciates the ease that a truly sharp ...

    It's a replacement!

    I have used my Lansky system for 20 years. It makes me (a novice) look like a pro. The coarse and fine diamond stones work quickly to make a good edge. Price was great also. Thanks, Norm.

    It works

    I like the Lansky system ok, but the design limits the use on small blades. The nice thing about the diamond sharpener is that I can use it free hand without the rest of the contraption to sharpen small blades

    Finishing touch sharpening

    The diamond 600 grit puts the finishing touches on all of your sharpening projects, IF you have the lanky basic sharpening kit. It did not come with a guide rod, so you will need to swap one out of the kit.
