A Great Lee Marvin movie from 1968 !!
One of my favorite Lee Marvin movies from 1968 ! The remastered Blu-Ray edition has great picture clarity and sound quality !! Highly recommended !!!

Not Mifune, Marvin’s, or Boorman’s best. But if you like the movie, the blu-ray rocks!
Good transfer, the movie looks better than any previous home video release. Besides the great picture the blu-ray has some good extras, including the ability to watch it with either of the filmed alternate endings, a so-so commentary by 2 “film historians”, and a good interview with director Boorman.

If you expect two endings, do not buy this.
The pros are seeing Toshiro Mifune. The cons are it did not have the second ending - The one made for America as promised and the reason I purchased this.

A Good Classic!
This movie is very well done and the cinematography is excellent. I was glad to find it on Blu-ray.
