A Book for Everyone’s Library.
A book that should be on the curriculum of every school. A wonderful period piece capturing the Edwardian age and the struggle of working folk within a cruel and heartless economic system. Interwoven in the narrative is a clear and compelling justiication of the Socialist ideal and one which reaches even those most hardened doubters that life can indeed be so different. Everyone should read this!

Classic, compelling, current
Have you ever thought "I do far too much work for way too little recompense..." "I don't deserve to be treated like this..." "It is one rule for us and one rule for them..." yet in fact done nothing in a practical sense about these thoughts? Allow Robert Tressell to elucidate and explain this phenomena and much else besides.
