Love Morse
We have finished volume 1, episodes 1-9. Unfortunately this volume arrived with the plastic inserts broken, so it is very difficult to organize and store these dvd's. That being said, I think that quantities of this series are currently limited and that's why I didn't return it and why we paid such a high price. Because the technology is old, the videos are not top quality, nor have we been able to get sub-titles. Hopefully, someone will re-master the series in Region 1 format at a reasonable price. This was not a reasonable price and we were disappointed that at least the first volume arrived broken (haven't opened the other volumes). The Morse series itself is great and as we also love the Inspector Lewis series, it's wonderful to have both and watch the relationships grow throughout. Mostly good.
Excellent series. I was going to buy the complete series available on Amazon, but thought it would be nice to have the original series DVDs. Mostly good shape BUT absolutely not “like new”. Box cases 2,3 & 4 were all broken inside allowing DVDs to fall out if not very careful. So I had to buy new multi-dvd storage cases to replace. Most of the DVDs were scratch free on the read side as advertised, but not all. A few had minor read side scratches which may or may not be a problem. Great english detective series
This mystery series has great interaction between morse, his subordinates,superiors and the suspects. If you enjoy trying to solve the crimes as the story unfolds, it is fun to try to do so and enjoy Morse's dry wit as he attempts to do soBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
