  • Not Worth The Money You Save

My previous desktop had a DIY pc case. No problems with that one. This one was like it was made by a different company. There are sharp edges in the wire routing areas. The metal is much thinner. There was a rivet missing under the plastic front cover. Oh, and definitely READ the description. Just because the plastic front cover has three 5.25" pop outs doesn't mean the case does. The metal case actually has two 5 1/4 bays, but because of the way the front cover is designed you can only use one of them. I found out that with a little drilling, the front panel of the new case fit the frame of my old one fine. And I now have three 5.25" drive bays. So now I have room for my blu-ray optical drive, media dashboard, and something else if I need it. With the front panel looking like it was designed for a different frame, the sharp edges, and the flimsy case metal, if this is the direction that DIY pc is going in, I'll spend the extra $20 and get a better case.

  • While a good looking case Drive fitment issues made for a less than Ideal build.

Well the case is attractive and will accommodate a 120 mm fan and radiator. But there seems to be a bit of a design flaw. While it appears from the pictures that it has 3 ( 5 1/4) drive bays up front Only 1 of them can accommodate a drive. The mounting has two slide points but 1 is so high up in the case it is useless as it is behind the main control panel. The second slot which aligns with the first front bay hole is the only one a drive can be placed. The motherboard I was using was full size atx and extended to the back most mounting bosses. This caused there not to be enough room (depth) to install a new common smaller sized DVD/RW. The second and the third front bays have no mount points for a drive to attach too It does appear that you can mount a second 120mm fan but that's it. I was able to mount a media (card reader) in the top bay as it was not as deep as a optical drive but had to forgo any optical drive as there were no mount points and the case was not deep enough when using a full atx motherboard.. The 2 3 1/2 " mountings for standard hard drives worked well enough and the case also has 2 additional mount points for 3 1/2" SSD but when using a non modular power supply 1 ended up blocked by the power supply wiring The wire hiding holes were limited and not well placed. and the area behind the right side panel had very little room to route and hid wiring but did prove adequate. The overall build came out fairly clean but I was disappointed as I could not use the DVDRW that was purchased for the build leaving the system with no optical drive. I would not purchase another.

  • BETTER THAN EXPECTED

Like title says it was better than expected, for cheap id size tower. It comes with instructions that's in English and pictures too. There's only one UBS 3.0 port and two UBS 2. The fans are only with some good vents for moving air. The sad part is that everything is black expect for blue trimmings, which makes finding buttons a bit tricky.

  • Great value. .

Doesn't have some of the aesthetic features of more expensive cases but functional with decent cable management. Gave 4 stars because the small internal speaker was broken off. I use a monitor with sound so not an issue. Over all great case for the price.

  • RATE AND REVIEW DIYPC Solo-T2-BK Black USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with 2 x Blue

good value, nice looking, overall good design except for mounting of drives. CD Rom drive sticks out from front panel due to lack of room to MB, SSD drive would not fit in the location allocated.

  • Great case but needs more room for 5-1/4 bay devices

Can't beat the value this case provides in style and functionality. If not needing an internal 5-1/4 device or using a micro ATX board it is an unbeatable deal! Gave it four stars since standard ATX motherboards will not allow space for mounting a ROM or other drive in the 5-1/4" bays.

  • Seems like a good case, but take a closer look.

The main problem with this case is that the power supply fits at the bottom and the motherboard on top. That creates other problems like the CPU power cord doesn't reach the connector on the MB, the DVD drive doesn't fit, you have to remove the front cover to install the hard drives and must have 90 degree connectors, the power supply air flow is very restricted just to name a few. I don't recommend this case. It is too troublesome.

  • Great light weight case, if you want to download all your software...

If you plan on putting in an optical drive, look for a different case. The 5.25 bay is very shallow and will not fit a cdrw drive do to the power connector for the main board gets in the way. I might be good for mounting a status display for a cooling system but little else.

  • A great buy

Pretty decent case for the price. Good cable management. Had a small issue with fitting the radiator from my AIO liquid cooler but a set of standoffs fixed that with no problem. I read that some had a problem with the DVD fitting properly but I did not experience that. It was a bit tight but really no issue. My Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard installed without difficulty & the case will accept long graphics cards. All in all a decent case.

  • Good Case

If you are the type of person who wants to show off his build then this is not the case for you. But, it is a good, solid & well designed case at a good price.
