Series is funny, playback is horizontally stretched.
The series itself is a stitch to watch. The display, not so much. It was recorded in a "full screen" format, but it renders on a wide screen with a horizontal stretch. Yes, I can (and do) override that, but I have to return to "let the source specify the aspect" mode afterward, or my wide screen stuff gets squeezed into the full screen aspect ratio. The fact that Jeeves's name precedes Wooster's is no mistake.
I watched a few episodes with a friend and liked it so much I had to have the whole series. Stephen fry and Hugh Laurie do a superb job of recreating Jeeves and Wooster. So wonderful I had to own it
