Mitchum is AWESOME in THUNDER ROAD!!!
Robert Mitchum is awesome as always. His voice alone is worth the price of admission. "Thunder Road" was one of the Best movies to come out of the late '50s. Based on real life in the Deep South.

A Good Drive-In Movie
A very enjoyable movie. Robert Mitchum is a big star and this is his film. It's about the good old boys running illegal whiskey in their hopped up cars. That's how NASCAR started. Lots of classic automobiles and chases by the revenuers. A real drive-in type picture.

Fun & Exciting
I saw this movie in the theater when first released. I enjoyed it as much this time as I did then. I would have given more stars but there was a glitch on the disc which interrupted the move this time.

Fantastic!
This is a movie That I remember from my teenage years and not seen but on TV a couple times since then! Now I have my own copy of it and enjoyed watching it!

well worth the time to sit and watch.
Entertaining movie first produced in 1958. Nice to watch something that Hollywood has not altered to fit the politically correct world of today.
