    Built one like it when I was a kid. Treated it like most kids treat toys. This is my stroll down memory lane. A great model to practice painting skills. The story they include is neat too! Worth every penny.

    Great model from the past.

    It's great. It was originally called the Leif Erickson I believe, when I first got it as a kid back in 1968 or 69. Brings back great memories though. I can't remember the original color, black or gray maybe, but it wasn't Glow in the dark. Still a very cool model kit from the old days.

    this is a great classic model kit re released in its original glow in the dark plastic, i never had an original kit made by amt in 1968, i got the gray plastic re issued in 1973-a great model kit i fully recommend this model kit, if you love classic model kits as i do.

    Return of a Classic

    Had this model as a kid, and just bought it again 40 years later! It's still awesome, but now comes with way better decals and a story. A very cool model for all ages!
