Long Haul Truckers, Bad Trucks, And Worse Crooks
Richard Conte was one of the biggest stars of the film noir era of American movie making. This is one of his best, I'm sure. It's a well constructed story about long haul truckers and the hardships they face. In the old days, just after WW2, truckers struggled to make good in bad trucks. In this take, they were also at risk of being taken by crooks. This one is worth the price of admission. It has top-notch actors and direction. "Rotten Tomatoes" gives it 100%.
