A clear view.
Billy Bragg's incisive book clears the fog to clarify many of the major issues faced by the people of today's unstable world. He gives a clear-eyed view of the problems of modern politics, the rise of populism, the failure of capitalism and globalism to improve the lives of the wider population. Bringing in Brexit and the growing climatic and ecological crises, the writer explains how the notion of freedom has become debased by the neglect of responsibility and accountability, and how a renewed, three-dimensional freedom could offer us all a better future.
