Great watch series 1 to 6
I had watched series 1 and 2 on TV and was desperate to get series 3,4 and 5 so this DVD fitted the bill being 1 to 5. It is a great watch if you like things like Downton Abbey but this is Australian and about a well to do family and the problems they have and they cause. Just started series 6 but as always the last in the series is a bit slow.

a must for all lovers of melodrama.
I think this is one of the best series that has been on tv for some years, I must have watched it at least half a dozen times on tv of course , skipping all the adverts.( its very Douglas sirk). the acting and charactersiation are excellent.

Best buy of 2018 - saved my bacon.
This is an excellent programme. We had it recorded on cable but it stopped after series 2 and then jumped to 4 missing 3 all together. In desperation we found this - life saver. .

A must see
A superb watch recommend . It is very engaging and you get to know the characters more as each series progresses, its is heart warming some times very sad but also it has wonderful stories very true to life for the period. Once you start watching you have to watch it and get engrossed so I watched them very quickly. I cant recommend them enough you will be engrossed

Compelling Drama full of interesting characters to follow.
This is series is so good I couldn't wait to watch each episode. Covering the ups and downs of an Australian family, their friends, and enemies, in 1950's post war New South Wales. Lots of drama with numerous twists and turns. Characters to love and hate. So good, I felt quite bereft when it was finished so watched it all over again.....

Great family viewing
Fantastic story of family and their turbulent life, it keeps you engaged through the sad times and good. Once you start watching you want to go from one episode to the next. I truly recommend this box set you won’t be disappointed.

Entertaining Box Set
I am hooked on this. 100% melodrama. Every dramatic cliche is used. Cliff hanger endings a speciality. Great fun.
